We are still doing fine. Shyla is becoming more family everyday. We had a new Petco open yesterday just down the road from us. Brooke insisted we take her last night and today. She loves to go!! Just strolls around and checks everything out. It is good for her to socialize with the other dogs too. She is just so sweet and loves anyone that pets her. She is picky on the treats she likes. Not Jetta, she will eat anything.
I haven't taken the time to go on Yahoo to see if I can get in. I need to do that so I can see Shyla's blog.
Shyla had her first bath today. The weather has been in the high 40's the last two days, so the snow has really melted. Melting snow, lots of puddles, and soft ground. This is truly a deadly combination for dogs!! They both needed a bath today!! Shyla did quite well. I was pleasantly surprised. She is pretty easy going with most things.
She does her little squeal all the time. We just never noticed it because Jetta is a barker. When ever I would come home Jetta barks and was drowning out Shyla!!!! When you mentioned her squeal to me I started listening for it and sure enough it's there!! She is so cute.
Shyla is quite the dancer. She loves to jump up for Brooke. Brooke will grab her paws and they dance all over the house. Brooke will make Shyla go backwards and she really does well! It is so funny to watch.
We still have her sleeping in the crate. I feel bad, but she doesn't really seem to mind. I just am a little nervous with Thumper (rabbit) if she would get up in the night.
